The Blackjack is very famous community card game. It can be played in every kind of casinos, no matter if big or small, land-based or online. The Blackjack is a solo game. Your opponent is only the dealer. Even though there might be 8 players at a table, there can be no teamwork between the players. Everyone plays for his own. If you beat the value of the dealer's hand without busting - exceeding twenty one, then you win the hand, no matter how well any of the other player's hands did. If the dealer busts and you don't bust, then you win the hand as well. In the Blackjack the suits doesn't matter. The value of every number card coincide with the number on its face. All face cards, like King, Queen, Jack, count as ten. The Ace may count as one or eleven depending on what you need to form perfect hand. The card counting is legal, but it is actively discouraged at casinos. Be aware because you can even get banned for doing so. Each player must wager some money before any cards are dealt. He does this by placing his bet in front of his table position. The chips that are wagered have no value until they are not turned into cash. Then the dealing starts. The casino dealer gives two cards to each of the players and two to himself. All players cards are private. But notice that one of the dealer's cards is dealt face up, and the other is dealt face down. The best possible hand is called Blackjack and occurs if the player's first two cards are an ace and a ten or face card. It's value is exactly twenty one and that is why you can come across this game with the name "Twenty-one".
